Back to Normal

We had some heavy rain first thing on Monday morning but it didn't turn out to be wet all day as forecast and the remainder of the day was cloudy and mostly dry.
After the hot start to the month temperatures have returned to normal and so far this month we've had some rainfall each day.

    Your title says is all, Martyn. I'd say "It's been a summer of two halves". Two or three weeks of steady sunshine and then back to normal. All the same the normal is easier to take because of what came before.

      Must admit normal seems good at the moment - especially not having to water the plot.
