Saturday was a reminder that it's still February and winter rules. It snowed for most of the morning but it wasn't that dry powdery snow it was wet and slushy from the start. It stopped snowing at lunch time and thawed through the afternoon and evening even though the temperature didn't mange much above 3°C all day. It's a reminder too of why for us it's too early to start sowing seeds even in our greenhouse.
It was every bit as dull and miserable as it appears from this photo.

There was little action to report from nest box cam. Just an inquisitive peep inside around lunch time. I reckon they were all too busy finding food in the snow.
I look forward to following this blog.
