Rain,sun and gale force winds were the order of the day for Friday. My weather station recorded its highest wind gust speed of 36mph at 20:00 knocking spots of the previous 28mph. Much higher speeds were recorded around more exposed parts of West Yorkshire.Our garden seems to have escaped from the gales athough I'll have to speed up the construction of our new bird tables as are old one was blown over in the wind leaving it much the worse for wear.
