Sunday, 03 May 2020 - Lockdown Day 41 - A New Arrival

The rain of the last few days didn't amount to much and we missed out on any of the follow up showers meaning that the allotment and garden remain dry and in need of a good soaking.
Temperature & Rainfall Records 03 April to 03 May 2020
The chart above shows the rainfall we've had set against the 50mm (2.0in) we'd expect over an average four week period.

In a blog post last week Sue mentioned "a ball of fluffy energy charging around the house finding mischief where there should be none". Well, that ball of fluffy energy is Ruby.
Ruby arrived back at the beginning of March when she was 8 weeks old. She's a black and tan, phantom miniature poodle. Of course, she wasn't allowed out on other doggy areas until she had had all her inoculations and by the time she had, we were in lockdown.

Ruby's now 17 weeks old and has made her first visit to the plot.
She's surprisingly good on a lead considering the limited experience she's had of the great outdoors. Hopefully, once the lockdown restrictions are eased she'll be able to add to her experiences.
