Ruby's First Birthday

It has warmed up a little bit since we took Ruby on her birthday walk around Nostell Priory. Strangely the grass was muddy but parts of the lake were frozen over.

The temperature today, Monday 11 January is hovering around the 6°C (43°F) mark but according to this morning's weather forecast, the milder temperatures aren't going to last with snow a possibility on Wednesday.

Ruby found as much mud as she could on her afternoon walk and was in need of a wash as soon as she got back home. She loves going for a walk, even in bitterly cold weather, but she's not at all keen on the wash that has to follow.
