Thursday was a superb January day with plenty of sunshine through the day but frosty early morning and by early evening.

In the morning (08:45) at this time of year the sun is low in the sky and is just beginning to get to work on the frosted glass to my greenhouse roof. When the sun is at its highest around midday it still doesn't manage to reach much of the garden as our house puts much of the garden into shade.
