Monday morning was misty and wet with some rain but the afternoon was a little bit brighter and drier.
We managed a visit to the plot last Friday to do a little bit of harvesting. I made a short video of our visit.

Martyn a lovely video which I thoroughly enjoyed while having my breakfast, I love your allotment plot and wow what a size it is down here we would have split into about 5 plots. I assume the blackberries are thornless and the sweetcorn although tightly grouped did the business as they say, I didn't realise Sue doesn't drive hope your mobile soon. Love to you both. David
ReplyDeleteGlad the video didn’t spoil your breakfast David. You’re spot on regarding the size of our plot as it is 5 plots. At the time the council were happy for us to take on as many plots as we wanted. Even now our site still has a few vacant plots.
DeleteSue can drive David it’s just that with her current dry eye problem she has not been driving at all. We didn’t think that it was worth talking the risk for her to start driving if she wasn’t 100% sure.
Im sorry to here that Martyn I assumed her dry eye problem had been resolved I and several friends have the same problem our eyes seem to be constantly watering we wish her well
DeleteThat's beautiful video Martyn! Love to see your plot! Saw the harvest photos in Sue's blog! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWe'll soon be using fruit and vegetables from the freezer as we move from autumn and into winter.
