If temperature was the only thing that mattered Tuesday wouldn't look too bad with the temperature reaching 7.8°C (45.0°F) a little above what we might expect in early January. However, there was a bitterly cold, gale force wind blowing for much of the day. Our wind speed records for Tuesday indicate higher values than we had for either storm Barbara or Conor at the end of December.

At least it's kept any frosty weather at bay for the first few days of the year.
