It was cold and dull on Monday but we decided it was time to harvest a few fresh vegetables from the allotment. Harvesting a few parsnips which must have now been frosted and sweetened was first on the agenda.
I didn't edit the video they are just as I dug them up. Some did that parsnip thing of large looking top at ground level and nothing much below. The ground was very wet so digging them up was a messy job.

ReplyDeleteSome are a decent size but some haven't made much root at all. We should have enough to keep us going through winter.
